Hi Erin
Thank you again for shooting with us. It was wonderful meeting and working with you.
David and I greatly appreciated your natural beauty, professionalism, enthusiasm, and willingness to 'get your hair wet' as they say.
I hope you like the photos - a lot more will be coming soon - and wish you the best of luck in your competitive fitness and modeling endeavors. I hope we have the privilege of working with you again in the near future.
All the best
Doug
PS - big thanx to Stephen for making it possible.

Thank you Doug, for the wonderful comments! I really had a great time shooting with you guys, and from what I've seen, the pictures will be awesome! I really love that back shot in the water
I would love to shoot with HDphysiques again, most likely in the 2008 season.
I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures and video.
Thanks again!

Hi Erin
thank you so much. We hope to have the stills to you within the next week or so and have your material up on the site in October.
Until then here are two more mini versions of the photos taken of you in the water with your back facing the camera/
Best
Doug

Hey Erin - I saw the MU Gymnastics team in action the other night! Another great squad. Can't believe I missed you there just a few short years ago! Too bad the Cat Classic is the same weekend as the Arnold this year. bummer

Thanks so much Dani! I had a great time shooting with HDphysiques back in September, and hopefully will work with them again this summer when I am in contest shape
HD-Did you attend the "pink out" gymnastics meet at Mizzou?
I hear they will be very good this year. They picked up a transfer, Sarah Shire, who is originally from Missouri but competed for Utah (ranked #2 in the country) last year. I think they also finally figured out the coaching situation, so everything should go smoothly this year. Hopefully they will finally qualify to the NCAA championships....I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I stopped by Hearnes briefly the other night right when Pink out was beginning. Couldn't stay for all of it, had to get back to St. Louis. But what I saw was certainly impressive. Talked to some people at the press reception area, (yeah, that's how I roll, lol) and they all seem to agree that a Championship qualification is pretty likely this year. That Adrian Perry just kicks all kinds o ass. Very impressive on all disciplines. (and would make a helluva physique athlete upon graduation too!). What happened to Julie Abaray? Do you know?

Yes, Adrian Perry is amazing....she went to NCAA's as an individual when I was a senior there (I believe she was a freshman at the time), which is pretty incredible.
As for Julie, if I remember correctly, I think she had a knee surgery (possibly more than one) during the pre-season, and is still recovering, but hoping to get back into lineups by mid to end of the season (I will double check on this though). She's a great athlete as well...her form on every event is nearly flawless.
I really wish them a lot of success this year...hopefully they can follow in the footsteps of the football team this year.
If you happen to go back to any more meets, have someone tell Rob Drass and the team (well, mostly the seniors) that I said HI

Erin,
Thanks for the info on Abaray. Yes, she was incredible last year when I saw her several times. She really stood out at the Cat Classic last year.
Looking at the schedule, I doubt I'll be able to get back to Columbia before the end of the gymnastics season. But if I do, I'll be glad to tell the team hello for you. Last year they were all very cool - I had a media pass for several events and got to know some of the people there.
I just can't get used to basketball not being played at Hearnes anymore... just doesn't seem right. LOL. So much tradition and memories of great MU/KU battles there.
Joe

Time to update this thread:
From the HDP announcements page:
HDPhysiques is proud to present a very special treat - We were fortunate to work with 3 very special women from the Figure RX organization during the 2008 Arnold Classic Weekend. Allison Moyer, Erin Riley, and Lindsey Cope, 3 SUPERSTARS of figure and fitness, destroyed some serious weight in the gym sculpting their perfect physiques. See 6 HD video clips and 2 still galleries on the Figure RX - 2008 Arnold Classic Bonus Media Page. We shot LOTS of content during the gym shoot, with 2 video guys and 1 photo guy, so be on the lookout for lots of stuff here over the next few months. Special thanks to Ryan Spitler and Doug "Schmiddy" Smith for helping on this shoot!

I've just started scratching the surface of the content from that shoot.... but I don't think I got enough of Erin's impressively massive back. I left the super-wide angle lens back in Missouri.
From Now on, I know that when I shoot figgie RX chicks, I gotta plan for back width that I'm not used to shooting with your everyday fit-figs.
Tiger Eyes = IMPRESSIVE!

Haha, Joe, don't let my trainer read that! My goal for the off-season was to NOT make my back any wider. Now I'm going to be demoted to back training only every 2 weeks, and no heavy weights
But thanks for posting the update and the link!

LOL
When Erin hits the stage this year I think they need to come up with a new letter to describe her back since 'V taper' will not do it justice.
Erin, do not worry since your legs will definitely balance it out. You did a great job bringing everything up proportionately.

This is awesome. I truly am excited about Alli and Erin's contest prep. I'm actually fired up! I cannot WAIT to see the changes over the next few months!
ROFL @ "setting up camp on Erin's back for cocktail hour" - CLASSIC line, Alli!
In all honesty - I've been shooting in this industry for 10 years now... the only thing I can think of impressing me as much as Erin's back the other day, was the first time I saw Heather Policky/Armbrust in person and saw those famous quads back in 2001. The great thing is, Alli, I've been reviewing some of Doug's shots, and you're right there with her.... you're going to ROCK in 2008 too!

Yep Sioux, I start on Monday
We're doing our St. Patrick's Day dinner on Sunday (did I mention i'm 50% Irish....bet you would have never guessed , but in case MY name wasn't a dead give away, my brother's name is Sean Patrick Riley )....
So I will be having corned beef (no cabbage, LOL), carrots, potatoes, irish soda bread, etc-. I don't drink beer at all, but possibly a shot of Bailey's to celebrate
And then of course some type of dessert most likely involving ice cream
And you want to talk impressive....how about Alli's arms?! LOVE her biceps

Hi Erin
I swear, I never would have guessed you have Irish heritage
I must be in a giddy mood with the weekend coming, since when I read your reference to Alli's amazing arms I started wondering what it would look like if I combined Alli's arms with your back, with Ali's delts with Lindseys abs, with Jamie's legs etc etc. Kind of a Dr FigureRX-stein fantasy.
I need to find someone who knows how to photoshop this together!
Have a great weekend
Best
Doug
