We lost Erin's thread on the Atlantic City Pro (something with a pruning switch that has now been fixed) so we are trying to re-create it ....
Here's a post on MD from today:
Hi guys,
Thanks so much for all of the nice comments! I really appreciate all of them and all of the support that the women (and men ) offer on this forum. With so many negative things going on on other boards, its nice to come here and read everyone supporting each other.
Alli, thanks so much, you are so sweet and you and everyone and figureRX have been amazing...probably wouldn't have been able to compete in AC without all of Stephen's help, so thank you so much....and I definitely look forward to meeting you. You are prepping for a show in NY? If yes, i will try to make it (NYC is only about 30-45 minutes away)
Sioux, it's funny that you say I am strong for my weight. My competition weight this year has been around 124 which I think is heavier than most women at my height. I was usually around 130-135 as a gymnast, but I have a lot more muscle now, and am a lot stronger especially in my legs. Its funny, when I would go into my old gymnastics club to practice my routine, I would sometimes play around and do some gymanstics stuff, and I think I am better at it now than when I was younger.....to the point where my old coach told me I should put off competing in fitness and do gymnastics again LOL (by the way, that will definitely NEVER happen...gymnastics hurts way too much
