The superhero genre is taking off in Hollywood like never before, with the success of the Spiderman, Batman and Fantastic Four films, among others. Our childhood favorite, the Justice League, has been slated to be a movie but filming in Australia was halted this week due to the writer's strike. If all goes well production will resume again during the summer, and word is that after that some of our favorite DC comic book heroes will be getting their own movies, including Flash and Green Lantern.
But when it came time to cast Wonder Woman this time around, they chose Australian model
Megan Gale. While Megan is a beautiful woman, like Wonder Women cast before here, she simply doesn't look athletic or muscular enough to be from the land of the Amazons.
That's why we love the new comic book Iron Sirens. Not only do the heroines combine the beauty, strength, muscularity, and brains that we have come to expect from the fitness and figure stars in the NPC and IFBB, but the story is intelligent and entertaining as well.
Here's an exclusive look at two of the opening pages from Iron Sirens issue number two, which is expected to be available at the Arnold.
Adela Garcia as a heroine, and a bad girl based on
Sonia Adcock - does it get any better than that?
