The following thread will have results for open and masters figure at the North American Championships in Cleveland.

Three pro cards will be awarded on Saturday night, September 1st. Two will go to the top two overall finishers among the four height class winners. The third will go to the overall winner of the Master's division.

In Figure Class A, Nashville-based personal trainer Brandi Binkley has come out of nowhere and she looks phenomenal. Lauren Burnett is a top contender as expected, the judges seem to be favoring a little softer look for this show so far but one really never knows until we get to the two piece. Both Tiffany Procopio and Candice Houston appear to have come in at their personal bests.

We still think that Carin Hawkins can bounce back in her two piece, but she appeared a little flat on Friday and needs to fill out. Here at FigureRX we need to do a little more to follow the figure scene in Mexico, because the level of muscle down there appears to very similar to Europe. In particular, check out Rosa Cruz. Texan Beni Lopez looks very good as well.

Figure Class B was almost predictable, if we were judging we would only switch one competitor back and forth between first and second call-outs. This is the best group of 5'2" to 5'4" competitors that we have seen on one stage all year, and that's before we even get to the two piece pre-judging.

WOW - Tampa girl Amy Thompson looks absolutely perfect in her one piece, we thought she looked beautiful when winning the class in Chicago but since then she has dialed in her conditioning even more and added vascularity and hardness. Her suit is cut just right for her physique and the color is ideal for her. If Amy gets a pro card here it is extremely deserved.

Chrissy Burton has improved her presentation and her legs have come in nicely, while Nancy DiNino looks better than we have ever seen her. We also like some of the second call-out competitors who are not quite there yet but who have great futures, like Sousan Collias and Georgina Lona. We would have rewarded Stacy Adams with a first call-out, in the past she has sometimes come in too hard for her facial features but she has found the right balance for this show.

It took us a little while to digest what happened in the Figure Class C pre-judging, where FigureRX would have shuffled things around quite a bit differently. Tiffany Rabon looks to be the best of the class tonight, we are pleased with the refinements that she has made in the past couple of months and she is spot on in Cleveland. While we like Natalie Waples as a fitness model and hope she does well in Europe later this month, her level of conditioning does not justify placing her in the top five at the national level in the USA - yet.

Erin Parrish looks stunning as usual, she seems to have smoothed out a little bit for the judges but unfortunately was not rewarded. Please go HERE to see photos of Danielle Kifer, who is competing at North Americans with support from Team FigureRX. Two other competitors who impressed us are Ginger Hutchinson and Jennifer Myers.

During the one piece pre-judging for Figure Class D, most call-outs went according to plan but it was also clear that some were being penalized for excessive muscle and separation. Nancy Georges looks to be right on target and is our favorite, but we also have to do a special shout out to Kristen Crigler. We knew Kristen had a lot of potential for her national debut, and featured her in our preview, but she still surprised with her tremendous improvements - way to go Kristen!!

Melissa Deal had a growth spurt and slipped into this class making it even more interesting .... she looks best in her one piece so we will see how things go in the next round. We would have moved Kim Tilden up to first call-outs but otherwise are in agreement. We really like West Virginian Lori Staats but she was penalized for her muscle along with Canadian champion Christina Dzieduszycki.
