In our efforts to elevate and strengthen the sports of figure and fitness throughout the off season and next year, we will be creating a directory featuring the top amateur NPC athletes as we enter the 2008 season.
We will be selecting 15-20 athletes in each figure and fitness height class to be featured in our preview, which will be similar to the media guides released for all the major sports. We have identified many of the competitors, of course, but if you know of anyone (or if you are someone) expecting to make an impact on stage in 2008 please post here or contact us for consideration at FigureRX@verizon.net!!
Of course we think that all of the athletes on Team FigureRX will do extremely well in 2008. We'll get the ball rolling with someone else who we believe will be a top level contender, after taking 2007 off from competing.

I'm hoping to make a huge impact in 2008:):) I'm in my offseason now and ready to improve and come back stronger than ever:) First stop in 2008...the CBBF Canadian Nationals and on to the 2008 North Americans:)

Hi Loriann!
Yes you are definitely on our list ....
One of the interesting things about Canadian national level figure is the third judging round ... there is one piece, two piece and "black piece" which is a pure look at the physique without any distractions.
Here's Loriann in "black piece" at Canadian Nationals on June 30th, 2007.

I'm with you Loriann. I hope that 2008 brings nothing but good things. My first stop will be the Jr. USA's. It's a good way to start off the year but in the mean time I'm busting my rear in the gym and working on some things that I need to improve. So.. good luck to you next year maybe we'll run into each other back stage somewhere.

GREAT idea Stephen!!! And I know I'll be on that list...haha. But I love that you're extending the support and focus of FigureRX to the amateur level as well. Supporting figure and fitness from the bottom up is SO important and I am so proud to be a part of it!

I have been competing in the NANBF for 2006, and 2007. I am excited to move over to the NPC for 2008! Hopefully it will be a great year! I am working with a new trainer, and cant wait to make some improvements and bring a new and improved physique to 2008! I plan on doing a local NPC show to get qualified for either Jr. Nationals or Team Universe!

Time to get this thread going again because the media guide goes to print in less than two and a half months. In the group of 15-20 athletes who will be featured in Figure Class D we'll definitely be including Danielle Kifer. If you are wondering what genetic arm perfection (long muscle bellies, small joints, a killer peak, noticeable vascularity and separation) looks like then check out the photos below. Ridiculously perfect.

hey stephen you probably already have tiffany rabon down right. Ginger Hutchinson although she had a disappointing placement at NA's, i believe she has potential. Also Jean Jitomir of Texas, Kristen Ann Crigler from Virginia and Amy Isom from tampa but great idea about the media guide . I havent done one of those since i was working at louisiana tech!

Creating a Media Guide is a great idea! Are you planning to include the Master's classes also? Did not see anything to that effect, but thought I would ask/suggest
