What a tremendouslly big-hearted, passionate, generous guy. Steve always went above and beyond for me during my contest preparation as a teenage bodybuilder. Steve took an interest in teaching me the sport of bodybuilding and for this reaoson he will always be remembered in my heart as a person of class and heart. God used Steve as a teacher, role-model,encourager, and leader in which he was used to change my life for the best. Steve's life is one to be followed as he made the world a better place.

My good friend Stevo
I was not involved in Steve's bodybuilding world, but I always admired his great looks and youthful appearance. I was privledged to have Steve as my friend and neighbor for the past 10 years. Steve and his wife Andrea have been the best neighbors anyone could ever dream of. My wife and children adore them. Steve and I made easy friends from day one. His easy going personality and gentle smile made him one of a kind. We had alot in common. We both enjoyed working outdoors as well as creating many household projects. I could always count on Steve for a helping hand. I am going to miss him tremendously. In the summer we would take great pride in our landscaping. In the winter we worked together clearing our driveways of snow and Steve insisted on clearing all the neighbors driveways as well. We both had a love of dogs and many of our conversations were centered around his Bulldog Angus and My German Shepherd Shane. Because of our busy schedules some days in passing our words were brief. I would give him a "Stevo" and he would return with a "Kevo". There will never be a another neighbor like Steve. He was one of a kind and once in a lifetime friend. My family will never be the same, but our lives are much richer because of him. Until we meet again "Stevo" I will miss you and love you.......Kevo

please feel free to post on my blog in Stevo's memory http://stevestone.blog.com/

Steve - may God bless you always. I met you at the orignal Pumping Iron in NYC and you were always the nicest, most supportive person I'd ever met in the bodybuilding business. Arturo and I both send you prayers [yes ... the original Arturo - we'll never forget running into you outside the gym on the way to city hall to get married - that was 18 YEARS AGO Friday !!! :)]. Hope the big Gym in the sky has a good leg press! Susan

Your poetry, songs, letters and gifts are still kept in a box in the attic. My family and I want to give our condolence to your wife and family.Your kindness and genourosity will always be in my heart about you.
My you rest in peace and give God a great training session.
