Log Roller and Fitness Star Shana Martin Wins World Title

Fitness star, pole vaulter, and physique model Shana Martin of Madison, Wisconsin. won the 2008 World Log Rolling and Boom Running Championship on July 27th in Hayward, Wisconsin.

As it turns out, Tiger Woods isn’t the only premier athlete to have recently fought through a debilitating knee injury for a victory. Despite a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), Shana Martin of Madison Wis. won the 2008 World Log Rolling and Boom Running Championship on July 27th in Hayward, Wisconsin. Sponsored by Duluth Trading Company, a leading men’s and women’s catalog and online apparel company based in Belleville, Wis., Martin was determined to push through her pain to beat the top female lumberjack athletes in the country.
