Fitness Model Tina Quarles Expecting First Child

Successful fitness model Tina Quarles will be sitting out the 2008 NPC competition season because she is expecting her first child, with a due date in September. Tina has been named a 2009 "Impact Athlete" by FigureRX Magazine.

Successful fitness model Tina Quarles will be sitting out the 2008 NPC competition season because she is expecting her first child, with a due date in September of this year.   Tina had planned to begin her season at the NPC San Diego Figure this past weekend, and to compete in up to eight shows this year, but has now deferred those plans to 2009.

Tina says that it will be very difficult for her to watch from the sidelines, especially since she had very ambitious plans for this season including moving on to the national level. But obviously the circumstances are very welcome and she plans on starting her training again as soon as the baby arrives in September.
