Bodybuilding Weekly: On Way to Greatness, Gina Aliotti Stops by Flex Mag On Way to Greatness, Gina Aliotti Stops by Flex Mag ================================================================================ Hardbodies News on 03 September, 2008 07:02:00 September 4, 2008 Special for Bodybuilding Weekly San Diego based figure superstar Gina Aliotti is one of the featured model in an upcoming issue of Flex Magazine, according to an advance copy obtained by BW. Her photo shoot and article will appear as anticipation builds for her Olympia showdown with Jenny Lynn and Jennifer Gates. In many ways, Gina is the standard bearer for the segment of professional figure that believes in no-holds barred, no apologies necessary, intense physique excellence. Power, shape, conditioning and beauty personified in a package that is one of the best that the sport has ever seen. Why would any competitive athlete ever want to hold back when they can *be* phenomenol, and present a personal best on stage? It would be like Michael Phelps intentionally slowing down because winning eight gold medals might upset someone's sense of fair play. It's playing with one arm tied behind your back, all because there are a couple of people out there who don't think it's "ladylike" for females to show muscle separation. The Olympia is about being the best - and the best is what Gina brought to the stage earlier this year at the Arnold. Capped delts, tight abdominals, perfect shapes, rock hard conditioning - in other words, everything. We're hoping that this photo shoot in Flex is indicative of how she plans to bring it to the stage in Las Vegas, because this shoot is one of the best, up there with the legendary Jenny Lynn / Bill Dobbins spread in the February 2007 issue of Ironman. Flex has released two advance versions of the cover but the images of Gina are the same on both. After all, perfect is perfect.
