Bodybuilding Weekly: Autumn Edwards at the 2008 NPC Northern Kentucky Autumn Edwards at the 2008 NPC Northern Kentucky ================================================================================ Hardbodies News on 04 April, 2008 05:42:00 FigureRX Spotlight Interview - Autumn Edwards FigureRX Online Magazine Volume 4 One of the most fun aspects of figure competitions is the occasional emergence of an athlete who seems to come out of nowhere. Last year we coined the phrase "pulling a Brandi" in honor of Tennessee athlete Brandi Binkley, who won the Tennessee State championships last year and then swept her class a couple weeks later at the North American Championships. But these things don't just happen. Like Brandi, our FigureRX Northern Kentucky spotlight athlete Autumn Edwards is a student of the game who has been preparing for her moment on stage for quite a while. Genetically, a championship figure physique starts with two basic things - beautiful overall symmetry and superb focal points like delts and abdominals. Autumn starts with that base, as well as long muscle bellies and small joints, and as she puts on a little more mass this 23-year old's lines will only get better over time. If you add on her determination and her ability to soak up knowledge about all aspects of the sport, we believe you will see Autumn on a pro stage within the next two years and we're excited to see how she will fare when she shows up rested and ready at the 2009 Junior Nationals in Chicago.
