The 2008 Central States Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships were
held Saturday, August 2, at the Redford Theater in Detroit. After winning the
overall Figure Division at both the Natural Michigan and the Central States,
Angela Scheer is currently in a personal off season. However, Angela intends to
maintain a CLEAN off season because she's now qualified for the Nationals after
her Central States victory. Angela will not compete at the Nationals this year,
but instead will wait until next year so she can have even more time to prepare.
Next year Angela plans on crossing over to compete in both of the Figure and
Fitness Divisions. Because of her gymnastics background, Angela loves to perform
and Fitness is right down her alley. So, during her off season, she will be
working on her flexibility and all of the other required elements in Fitness. As
of right now, Angela's first show planned for next year is the 2009 Michigan
Championships. This is just tentative though, and Angela will modify her plan if
necessary.
Angela Scheer keeps busy during the off season at her personal training job at
Top Shape Fitness, located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Not only is Angela
going to be working on keeping herself in shape, but she gets to help others
achieve their goals, and that is an "awesome feeling!" for Angela.

A National Qualifier, the 2008 Central States, provided the key to Rob Moesta
to pursue his national fortune. This Light-Heavyweight was ready for this
competition. His victory sword in hand, he is ready for future matches.
